On Sunday 23rd September 2001, our latest addition to the fleet Y2 NBB was exhibited at the International Showbus Exhibion at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford where we were proud to receive the award for "Best modern Transbus vehicle".

North Birmingham Busways would like to announce that bus route 827 passing the used caravans for sale showroom will be halting it’s service. This is a result of reduced usage and it is no longer viable to keep the service in operation, we are sorry for inconvenience caused.

Recently we’ve had a spate of reliability problems with some of our busses, which will hopefully be rectified once our new fleet arrive. Until then we’re relying on car rental Lincoln and other rental services to keep our bus service running in the unfortunate circumstance a scheduled bus cannot arrive, rest assured all bus routes will remain running.

Driver CPC is short for “driver certificate of professional competence” and all bus, coach and lorry drivers will need to have it. Rest assured that all North Birmingham Busway drivers are Driver CPC Training or have already been trained to comply with the new legislation and standards.

We would like to reassure our customers that we do everything in our power to maintain a reliable and timely service. We hire bus transporters, car transporters , mechanics and all of our busses undergo regular services to ensure that our busses are safe and reliable.
